Our Team:

Mr. BidurBidur Thapaliya - C.E.O. (Rafting/Trekking guide, & Kayak Instructor):
Bidur came from village Mechchhe - 5, Kavre District, East of Kathmandu. Bidur has started his rafting career in 1990. He has been organizing river trips on the rivers of Nepal since 1992. He has been kayaking and guiding for many years and has a wealth of experience of whitewater trips and successful first descents of the Himalayan rivers! Bidur is at home on the rivers as well as on the mountains! He has trekked many areas of Nepal and Tibet and has a wealth of experience on mountain trekking, enjoying exploring new areas! In 1996 he started trekking company "Nepal Mountain Trekking Pvt. Ltd." which became on of well known trekking companies of Nepal with 100% safety record and good reputation. The most rewarding thing for him in his profession – to see happy faces of people who enjoyed time on the trips organized by his company, to see clients coming back to Nepal again and again becoming great friends!
Bidur finds himself in the office as much as on the rivers and mountains nowdays to make sure for your safe, fun and memorable trip in Nepal!
His idea is to be progressive: exploring new trekknig areas and rivers, learning and improving in all possible ways and all these with deepest dedication and respect to profession and the mother nature!




Mr. Kalyan
Kalyan Kumar Rayamajhi - Operation Manager
Kalyan is born in Bhimkhori V.D.C. 9, Kavre district of Nepal. He has come in Kathmandu for his higher education and upon completion he joined "Nepal Mountain Trekking Pvt. Ltd. " in 2006 to hold account and trip operation sections of the company. He likes adventure and loves joining one of our outdoor trips on mountains or rivers whenever he has a bit of free time from the office work!

Pasang Sherpa is local residence of Everest region, he has started his adventure job since 1991 and has long time experience in trekking and climbing field in several Himalayan regions of Nepal and Tibet. He is also a technical mountaineering guide for our company - handling climbing and treks. Personally he is very friendly and helpful and he loves to share his deep of knowledge about mountain among travelers to make their journey interesting and unforgettable.

 

 

TakmanTak Man Rai - Trekking Guide/Climbing Trainee/Outdoor Cook
Tak Man came from Everest Region, Solukhumbu district, Kanku V.D.C. 9, His main dream was to become good trekking guide and he has been putting lots of efforts for his dreams to come true. He is a person of great dedication. And he is a real Guide by his natural characteristics. Everyone who goes on the trip with him gets amazed by the way Tak Man does his job! He is well trained cook for the company as well and he loves cooking delicious outdoor meals in camping trekking and rafting trips. He started to work with us in 2001 as a Sherpa staff and kitchen helper and became the best cook! Since that time he has learned so much and developed a lot. He is unbelievably energetic person with great desire to learn as much as possible using every day of his life for development. Now he is deep into climbing. And his skills are developing really fast! He is a hard worker and everything what he does – he does with great motivation, right attitude and 100% involvement. He makes sure that all goes smoothly on the trip, he takes care of everything. Before you can think of something – he already does it for you! Tak Man is very friendly and positive person. We are very happy to have him in our Team!

 

ChandraChandra Bikram Khadka - Raft guide/Kayaker /Trainee Trekking guide
Mr Chandra is come from little village of Ramechhap District, Khaniyapani V.D.C.- 9 east of Kathmandu. February 2004 he has started working with company since his guide friends impressed him to be a good kayaker and Raft guide while he is on the raft trips. So that he is keep developing this profession both theoretical and practical to be company's tough guide in near future. Personally he is very friendly in manner and hard laborious for his dreams to come true.

 

MukundaMukunda Dahal - Trekking Guide/Sherpa Staff
Mukunda Dahal came from Okhaldhunga district, Kuntadevi V.D.C. 9, in 2006 he started working with the company as a Sherpa staff and quickly became addicted to the profession! In a frame of few years Mukunnda developed his professional knowledge and skills a lot and became one of the trekking guides of the company. He is a very gentle, honest and friendly person and doing his best for our every client to enjoy trekking in Nepal maximum.

 

 

Tek Bahadur Tamang - Outdoor Cook/ Sherpa Staff
Tek Tamang is permanent residence of Khumbu region of Nepal. He has been trekking for along time in his home land in Everest region as well as exploring other areas of Nepal Himalayas. He has been working with us since 2002. He cooks very delicious food for our clients during camping treks. He smiles a lot and charms everyone with his possitive attitude and professionalism.

Chandra Bahadur Chhetri - Mountain Bike and Trekking Guide
Mr. Chandra is local residence of famous Chitwan National Park region (mid-west) of Nepal. He is well known advanced mountain bike guide of Nepal. His has wealth of guiding experience leading biking groups in Nepal, Tibet and India. Being professional biker he has participated in many mountain bike competitions held in Nepal, he is masters-winner of 8th Nepal National Biking Championship 2007, he took part in Yak Attack 2008 and many other competitions - He loves to take part in any biking event which comes up! He enjoys exploring new routs sharing his experiences with the travelers. If you love mountain biking and trekking, excited to explore hidden and beautiful places, traditional villages and old monasteries, temples and gompas. You are welcome to join Chandra and to have enjoyable trip! Being it a short biking trip in Kathmandu valley, 5 days biking tour or an exciting ride Around Annapurna - so many choices of the trips in Nepal!

Mani Lama -Trekking Guide
Mani has come from Arun Valley of east Nepal and he is well trekking guide of our company. He loves trekking and meeting people from different cultures. He is an excellent ambassador for Nepal, providing detailed information about the people, their lifestyles and nature of the country. He is excellent entertainer as you will see from the evening camps in the trekking.

Care of the Environment:
We love the wilderness of Nepal and nothing gives us greater pleasure than to share our beautiful country with you.
At Nepal Mountain Trekking we are very careful to preserve and maintain the natural balance of our surroundings. Great care is taken in environmental and cultural preservation during any our outdoor trips. We always use gas instead of local firewood. Our campsites are left clean and all trash will be disposed properly, or removed from the camp.

Aid:
We at Nepal Mountain Trekking Pvt. Ltd. are happy to help our local communities by donating a percent-age of our profits to the education and health of the children in Eastern parts of Nepal. This is a concept that we hope to expand throughout the country in the near future.
